How to automate your sermon follow-up.
From creating your account to publishing your first congregation quiz in under 10 minutes.
Create your admin account
- Go to app.churchsummary.com.
- Enter your name, title, and email address.
- Search for your church in our directory. If it’s not listed, you can easily add it right from the registration form.
- If your email domain matches your church's official website, your account is verified instantly.
- If your email domain doesn't match (e.g., you use Gmail), your account will be created and our team will review it within 1–2 business days.
Connect your YouTube channel
- Log in to your admin dashboard.
- Navigate to the Settings page and click the Integrations tab.
- Paste your church’s full YouTube channel URL (e.g.,
https://www.youtube.com/@YourChurch). - Click save. The system will automatically verify the channel and begin monitoring it.
Wait for Tuesday
Once your channel is connected, your work is done.
- The automated sermon pipeline runs every Tuesday morning at 8:00 AM UTC.
- It fetches your most recent sermon video published since the last check.
- It processes the transcript and generates the public summary, the study lesson, and the congregation quiz.
- You’ll receive an email notification as soon as everything is ready.
Share the quiz with your congregation
Your unique, permanent quiz link looks like this:
Best practices for sharing:
- Include the link in your mid-week email newsletter.
- Send it via your church's mass text/SMS system.
- Print a QR code in your Sunday bulletin for immediate access after service.
- Announce it from the pulpit: "We want to know what you learned today. Scan the code in the bulletin to take the 3-minute reflection quiz."
Congregants simply enter their first name and email, read the lesson, and take the quiz — no app download or account creation required.
Review engagement in your dashboard
- Log into your admin dashboard anytime during the week.
- Navigate to the current week’s sermon.
- Review the total number of responses, average scores, and read the open-ended reflections submitted by your congregation.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if my church isn’t in the directory yet?
No problem. During the registration process, you can easily add your church's details (name, city, state, website, denomination). This will create a new profile for your church in our directory and associate your admin account with it.
How do I get verified if I don’t have a matching email domain?
If you register with a generic email address (like Gmail or Yahoo), your account is created but marked as unverified to protect church data. Our team manually reviews these accounts within 1–2 business days. We may reach out to request a simple verification document, such as a piece of official church mail addressed to you, or verify your identity via your church's staff page.
Can multiple staff members have admin accounts?
Yes. Once a church is established in our system, multiple staff members can register for admin accounts associated with that same church. Each account requires verification to ensure security.
What do I do if the AI generated something inaccurate about the sermon?
Because the AI strictly follows the transcript of the YouTube video, inaccuracies are very rare. However, if the audio quality was poor and resulted in a significantly flawed transcript, you can contact our support team. We continually refine our models to handle varying audio qualities and speech patterns.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your $39/month subscription at any time directly from the Billing section of your admin dashboard. There are no contracts or hidden fees. Your access will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.
Is there a free trial?
We do not offer a formal free trial period, but you can create an account, claim your church, and explore the dashboard entirely for free. You only need to start your $39/month subscription when you are ready to connect your YouTube channel and activate the automated weekly processing pipeline.
